When Sean and Kellye came up, we decided to stop at Grandma Coopers and visit with her for a couple of hours. She just adored Landry. After grandma cooked us a wonderful lunch and we visited for a while, we took Landry and the boys down to the barn to see if we could find some cows.
Most of the cows were in the back, so we didn't get to feed them, but the boys had a good time climbing on the farm equipment. Sean got to experience that "wonderful" cow manure smell from his childhood. (actually, we both love that smell) It must be linked to our childhood memories of the barn.
Grandpa was out in Mendon bailing hay so we took him some lunch and let the boys watch him drive the tractor down the field. Clayton wanted to ride so badly but grandpa said it was too dangerous, so he had to settle for a picture with brother on the hay bail.
