Coopers Graduation

Cooper graduated from Joy School the end of May. In fact, it was the day before we left for Texas, so I am a little late on this post. We had a graduation program and dinner for the kids.
We just grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and invited all the parents to come for the event. The food was great and so was the company. The kids had a great time playing with each other and they looked so cute in their graduation hats. Each of the parents told something that their child does to bring them "joy". Then we would walk down the stairs instead of across a stage.

Trip to the Fire Station

Cooper and his joy school friends went to the fire station here in Roy. And from what Carries says, the Roy Fire Station and Crew rock. Cooper had so much fun. He would stand by the chief and try to ask him questions. The chief was telling the kids that there are different colored hoses because they all have favorite colors. One little girl replied, " Then where is the pink one?" He thought that was cute. About half way through the tour, the chief gave up trying to talk to the kids and just explained things to the mothers. The kids are still quite young to focus, but they had so much fun seeing the big fire trucks.

St. Patricks Day!

At Joy School, Cooper's class dressed up for St. Patricks Day. The teacher bought them hats and a cute green necklace and they had to go on a scavenger hunt for some gold coins. The kids had so much fun that day and I found Cooper a cute shirt that had a motorcyle on it and it said, "St. Pat's Motorcycle Club".

Joy School

Cooper has been going to Joy School for a couple of months and he loves it. He has seven kids in his class, including himself. We trade off with the other mothers to teach weekly lessons. It's so nice when you can drop your child off for a couple of hours twice a week, but when it's your turn to have seven 2 and 3 year olds at your house, it can get a little crazy. This week Cooper learned that he is unique and has different qualities. He also learned that he should love himself. This is his class which consists of Cooper, Ethan, Betsy, Kenzie, and Tayson. Two kids are missing in this picture. Cooper loves interacting with the other children. But, sometimes he finds himself in time out because listening isn't his most favorite thing to do right now.
Cooper's best buds, Reese and Jaxson, don't understand why Cooper goes to school and they don't. "But he is 2 and we are 4, why does he go to school?" they ask all the time. Sometimes they get to come with me to pick up Cooper or drop him off and they love to look at the new things that he makes in class. Hopefully, they will be able to go next year.
