Halloween 2015

Cooper had the best costume for Halloween this year....Napoleon Dynomite.  He acted just like him for all his pictures.  I think that most adults loved his costume more than the kids his age.
We painted small pumpkins at Grandma and Grandpa Douglas'. The boys made super hero pumpkins.  Parker thought it was fun to just be able to paint.  We also made the famous "Owl Cookies" as well.

Our neighborhood and ward friends had an adult Halloween party a couple nights before Halloween.  We were paired up with Mallory and Andy Hutchison for the evening.  We had to complete a Halloween service scavenger hunt.  We bought fries for people at Five Guys Burgers.  We went up to Utah State to get a picture by the Bull and on the "A".  We had to buy someone a double scoop of ice cream at the Utah State Creamery.  It was a fun evening.  After the hunt, we went back to eat dinner and cookies with everyone.

This year Parker was a monkey and Clayton was a power ranger.  We went trick or treating over at the Merrill's neighborhood and did a few houses in Grandma's neighborhood.  As usual, the kids had a blast going from door to door.

Family Pictures in 2015

The last two years, we have taken our family pictures over by the railroad tracks and dog park in Logan.  It is a perfect location and the lighting and backgrounds are perfect for the pictures.

UEA in Bear Lake 2015

This was our last trip to stay at Chris' cabin over at Bear Lake.  Last month, Chris decided to sell Alpine to a buyer who has other restoration companies in Utah County.  It was a great move for he and his family but not so much for all the employees of Alpine.  We consider it a huge blessing that Bryce was offered a job at Casper's and that we were done working for Alpine.
We spent UEA weekend over at the cabin.  Ty and Jaden and Addey came over with us for a night.  Jamie and Jared brought their family and we all had a great time for a few days. We went on a hike, stayed up late watching movies and playing cards, created a relay race, and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine.

Aaron and Amy Hancock came over the next day.  We took the kids down to ride go-carts and they had a blast.  We also had a girls night out on the town.  The men cooked dinner for all the kids at the cabin and we went to a pizza place and then took a bunch of crazy pictures.  It was a fun little break with just the ladies.

On Saturday, I had a fundraiser back in Roy, so Bryce had all the kids for the day.  He took them to the Paris ice Caves. They had a fun time playing and hiking in the caves.  It is October, so it's a little chilly, but not too cold for the kids.

Family Fun 2015

Bryce and I have always found it important to do family activities and make sure our kids spend time with each other.  We have a unique age difference with our kids, so they don't naturally play together. I love watching them spend time together and I love it when they are kind to each other.

For the Casper's Company Retreat this year, we spent a couple of nights in Park City.  The first night they had dinner and a training in Salt Lake and then we drove over to Park City where we shared a condo with Tiffany and Jesse Vega.  WE did some shopping, swimming in the hot pools and some hiking.  We had dinner the second night at a little Mexican Restaurant near the resort.

On Saturday, we took a drive over to this hidden lake.  The scenery was beautiful and it was fun to just spend some time with Bryce for a few days.
