He usually wakes in the morning between 7:15 and 8:30 depending on what time he went to sleep the night before. For the most part, he wakes up pretty happy and if I throw a few toys in his crib, he will play for a few minutes while I get dressed.
I bring him out to his high chair where he will snack on a few Cheerios while I get him something for breakfast. He loves to prop his feet up on his high chair while he eats. I usually feed him yogurt or rice and apple sauce. He also loves apple juice, so after he eats, I will lay him on the floor while he attempts to hold his bottle and feed himself.
After breakfast, Clayton gets a warm bath. He just started turning onto his stomach while in the bathtub. He loves to play with his little toys and he gets frustrated when they float away from him. He flips and flops in the bath and his big head controls where he goes. He often hits his head into the side of the tub when he is after one of his toys that is floating away. He is still trying to master the bathtub, but he seems to enjoy it.
Clayton has just started sitting up the last two weeks and this makes him pretty happy. He is still a little wobbly, but he does a great job. One of his favorite things to do right now is roll around on the ground. He will do this for a long time and he can get wherever he wants to go. He just tips his head to one side and over he goes. He just started getting up on his hands and knees this last week, so it won't be long before he is crawling.
He is also starting to put weight on his legs. He has always been a bigger baby, so I think it was hard for him to put his weight on his legs, but he likes it now and I have a hard time sitting him down sometimes because he won't bend his legs. He loves to chew on everything and I have realized that the simplist objects can be exciting to Clayton.Clayton takes two naps during the day and they usually last anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes. It seems like he doesn't need a lot of sleep, since he has never been a good "nap taker". As of the last couple of weeks, he is giving us a hard time when its time to put him down at night. He used to be ready by 8, but now he is wide awake and ready to play at 8. Clayton has been sleeping through the night since he was 4 months old, but he will wake when his binki falls out of his mouth. Hopefully, he will get over that soon and be able to find his binki and put it back in his mouth.
I have been amazed at all of the skills he has mastered over the past two weeks. All of a sudden, he can pick up Cheerios and feed himself crackers, roll all over the floor, almost crawl, and put weight on his feet. I also love to watch him pick up objects and transfer them back and forth between his little hands. Its fun to watch him try to figure out how to make his fingers and hands work. He is growing up so quickly and time flies by too fast. When he starts crawling he is going to be into everything!

Clayton is adorable. Isn't it amazing how quickly they change? I think he's wanting to keep up with Cooper. There's no stopping him now. Thanks for posting the pictures and updates.
He is getting so big! I can't believe that he is 7.5 months already! Time sure flies!
He's so cute. I can't believe how big he's getting. I love that he's learning everything so quickly. It's such a fun stage to see them in, right?
That was a cute post. He's getting so big so fast!
