The next morning they went on a 4-wheeler ride up to Willard Peak. They called me when they got to the top and Cooper was having such a fun time with his dad. On the way back down the trail, they came upon a wreck. An older couple had been drinking and rolled their 4-wheeler. Bryce was the first on the scene. The lady was responding but the man was face down and not responding. He had blood coming out of his ears and he had a cut on his face that was all the way to the bone. Bryce had Cooper sit over on the 4 wheeler, so he would not see all the blood. Bryce helped mobilize them until life flight and first responders came. The police showed up and gave Cooper a silver badge for "waiting patiently" while Bryce filled out a bunch of paper work.
Bryce and Cooper made it home safely and had a great time together. I am so thankful that Bryce took the time to spend the weekend with Cooper. He really needed that special "one on one" time and attention.

That is awesome that Bryce thought of a father-son outing. And how lucky were those people that Bryce showed up and was able to help and assist them. What a great Dad!
WOW! That is some INTENSE father-son campout! And what a stud Bryce is for taking him off by himself. I'm sure Cooper LOVED it and hasn't stopped talking about it... that and the silver badge from the cop. Sweet!
