Alpine Easter Egg Hunt

On the Saturday before Easter, Bryce's work put on the 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt and lunch. It was so much fun to eat lunch with everyone and to let the kids hunt for eggs. Jared grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone and the rest was potluck. The food was great and it was so nice to visit with some of the families.

Angie and Moriah hid hundreds of eggs. The weather was a little on the chilly side, but the sun was still shining, so that was a blessing.
This was the first time Clayton kind of knew what to do. He carried his basket like a big boy, but when he would pick up an egg, he would shake it and then wanted the candy inside of it. We had to encourage him to continue to pick up more eggs. After a few minutes, he just started throwing them....(it didn't help that the eggs looked like footballs, basketballs, and soccer balls). He absolutely loved all the candy that he found inside the eggs! It was so much fun to watch him react to the eggs on the ground. He came away with a basket full! They divided the egg hunt up into different age groups and Cooper had a fun time searching in the high grass for the eggs. Him and Jaxson had a great time helping each other find eggs.
Bryce and had a fun time watching our boys and seeing the excitement on their faces as they found each egg. We also didn't mind the candy either!
