Move Ins

Our dear friends, Jacqui and Jared, sold and moved out of their home 4 days after Thanksgiving.  They actually sold there home the first day they put it on the market, so they had no idea what they were going to do. They were hoping to find a foreclosed home and fix it up, but there were none available.  They also looked at the possibility of purchasing land and building home, but they seemed expensive.  They ended up looking through many homes with their realtor and finally deciding to move into a brand new home that was almost completed.  In the mean time, they needed a place to live for four weeks.  We ended up having them stay with us during that time.  I was kind of anxious before it all happened.  I didn't know how it was going to work out with 10 people living in our small home.  Anyway, it turned out just fine and everything worked way better than I expected.  The kids enjoyed spending their days and nights together.  Jacqui and I had "live in" babysitters, so that was useful.  We played games on some of the nights and enjoyed watching TV and visiting with each other after the kids went down each night.  Cohen and Jacqui had a hard time sleeping here, but other than that, I think that everything went pretty smoothly!
